A warm welcome for Mirte Jette, who joins our team as master graduate intern Supply Chain Management.

In 2016 started Mirte her academic career studying the HBO Bachelor of Business Administration at Avans in Den Bosch. During this study she followed the pre-master Supply Chain Management at Tilburg University. This allowed her to immediately start the Master of Supply Chain Management after receiving her Bachelor’s degree in 2020. Currently, she is moving towards the end of this Master which has brought her to Tacon.

During her Bachelor, she has done several process optimization projects and internships, which further increased her interest in the subject. In February Mirte will start writing her Master Thesis for Tacon & Matrixtape. During this internship she will research how Tacon & Matrixtape can optimize their warehouse processes and activities. One important objective of the thesis is to achieve optimized and accurate inventory levels.

The new appointment of an intern on our Supply Chain fits in Tacon & Matrtixtape’s strategy with regard to process optimization in our production and warehouse to support our continuous growth within the field of industrial tapes and technical film converting for industries including medical, automotive, construction, packaging industries.
